Dr. LaFarra Young, a triple board-certified physician with almost twenty years experience, founded LaFarra & Co to provide women on the go with luxurious wellness & beauty products so they can naturally look and feel their best, showing up confident for any occasion.
For over 30 years, she did the bare minimum for self care because outwardly she looked like the picture of health until a drive home from work ended in blurry vision. Following treatment for sarcoidosis for over 10 years, she noticed her face was not the same. Pores and fine lines were what she saw when she looked into the mirror for the first time, and new product sensitivities were causing her to lose hair and lashes. At age 40, she made the decision that she would not be the typical "older woman" over 40 and used her expertise as a physician to create a simple beauty regimen that addressed the needs of the whole woman over 40 with ingredients mindfully sourced to help them look and feel their best without skin and eye irritation in just minutes a week.
