Hi. I’m Dr. LaFarra Young, a triple board-certified physician with almost twenty years experience, and founder of LaFarra & Co. who was a faithful mascara wearer until I realized it was irritating my eyes.
Like many of you, I felt my best when I looked my best and finally decided to give other lash products, including individual lash extensions, a try. Within two months I had almost completely lost my natural lashes. I was devastated and discouraged, conveniently choosing to hide behind masks and hair wraps during the pandemic until I decided I would find a better way to enhance my eyes.
As a physician and sarcoidosis survivor, I was familiar with the effects that eye inflammation had on our confidence and overall quality of life over the years. As a consumer, I was frustrated by the lack of natural-looking high-quality lashes for professional women. I founded LaFarra & Co to provide women on the go with luxurious wellness & beauty products free of toxic chemicals so they can look, feel, and do their best at any age.
